LOOKING UP

I take basically the same route to work everyday and usually try not to get bogged down in thoughts of the day ahead.
Today, I decided to look up, taking in my surroundings and the beauty in things I pass every day, but don't really see.

The result. Well I got some great photos, but I actually felt like I was in a new city, just by seeing things from another angle.

Instead of worry about my do to list or hanging out for my coffee hit, I said hello to the big issue guy and helped a man pull his suitcase over the curb. Highly recommend being a tourist on your way to work tomorrow.

Here's what I saw:

New mural being painted outside a cafe on Carlisle St, St Kilda East.

Who gives a hoot, I like it.
Even the Docklands tradies are on trend with their scaffolding.
GPO building Melbourne - looking up.
Primary school art project in community veggie garden.
