I came home to find myself blessed with 7 editions of the Yellow Pages on the steps to my apartment. As there are only four apartments in my block, I thought I'd at least heave 3 onto my neighbours' stoop, only to find they already had 5!

AN ODE TO MIX TAPES

I'd like to take a moment to bask in the joy and memories I have of listening to road trip mix tapes.  
 
I'd lovingly hit the play and record buttons in unison on my stereo as Alanis Morrisette or Cheryl Crow came on the radio. Then rock out on my bright yellow Walkman in the car, thinking the songs were written just for me.

Water Water Everywhere

A recent trip to Thailand had my obsessed with the fishing boats and colour. 
Its hard to take a bad photo on Phi Phi Island. It was an interesting contrast of beauty and trash. 
Azul aqua water and 500 rowdy tourists. 
Ancient swallow caves with solar powered generators hooked up to fridges. 
Sand like baby powder filled with tourists complaining there isn't any phone reception to upload their photos to facebook. 

But luckily the beauty overshadows all and hopefully it will be there for a long time to come...
