INSPIRE ME

Check out the latest from the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest

Good Bye Old Friend: Elephants are legendary for their memory and intelligence including attributes associated with grief, making music, altruism and compassion. We came across this elephant whose corpse was overcome by vultures and jackals. From a distance we heard and then saw another elephant approaching at a fast pace. She was successful at chasing away the predators and then very slowly and with much empathy wrapped her trunk around the deceased elephants tusk. She stayed in this position for several hours guarding her friend. (© John Chaney/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest)

African Queen - Madagascar: Madagascar is a country that feels like no other. Despite its rich mineral wealth it remains one of the poorest countries on the planet. It has suffered mass deforestation and the landscape scarred by mining operations but they beauty in lies within the people who make Madagascar. As the wife of the village Mayor, this woman was displaying some of the most exquisite sun protection I have ever encountered. (© Lisa Labinjoh/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest)

Maiko: Picture was taken in Kyoto, Japan. Her name is Toshimana, a Maiko in Kyoto, Japan. I caught her on her walk in small alley ways of Shijou. Being denied the first time for a picture she gave me a few seconds on her walk back. (© Seiya Bowen/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest)

Holi Explosion: Holi is a flamboyant festival where colored powder or watercolors are thrown on one another in celebration of the beginning of spring. Many take it as an excuse to run wild and at times act inappropriately. As hindus often say "Bura na mano, Holi hai" (Don't feel offended, it's Holi)" Photos taken in Bombay/Mumbai 2012. While working as a fishing guide in Tofino, British Columbia I had this humpback calf jump no more than 10 feet away from the boat. On our way in from fishing for halibut we noticed a few humpback whales playing in the distance and we stopped part way in to watch. It was quite an experience to see something completely airborne so close to the boat. The lucky thing was I got the photo I submitted. A fellow boat also got a picture of the whale close to mid air and it was also all caught on video. Was an amazing day. THEODORE'S INTERVIEW POST REHAB

After the last Moohaha shoot that lead to Theodore's 3 week stint in rehab, he invited us to his pad to discuss his public fall from grace, rehab and his new pilates video.

Theo looked tense waiting for the interview to begin. Theo wears Moohaha 'Gantaz drink tea too' long

When asked about rehab, Theo's outburst ended up with our camera man copping a foot to the side of his head.

Once Theodore was calmed by his manager, he returned to the interview with his eyes noticeably glazed, but ready to talk about his past habits. Wears 'Betterfly' short $195

Theodore admitted that hanging with the kermit crew had led to his substance abuse and many expensive court appearances for his poor anger management.

We were lucky enough to take a tour of Theodore's new pad, including his leather bound encyclopedia collection he claims inspired him to give up his' party lifestyle'.

Theodore looked humble and pensive in his new library, wearing 'You tool' long $249

Theo was excited to show us some new moves from his latest pilates video. Theodore wears 'Kermit crew' long $249

This moved has been coined 'Belgium Backpedal'

I cannot recall t he purpose of this move, but it's referred to as a 'Reverse Flamingo'

THEODORE'S LIFE OF A MODEL

Theodore was recently in Melbourne, back from his modelling shows in Milan. He was kind enough to model for Moohaha. Sadly we only had time to shoot two of the new pieces launching next week before things turned ugly on the set. His PR Manager promises he will return next month after a short stint in rehab.

Theo's Poses were a bit ridged, it took a while for him to warm up.

A nip of scotchy-scotch-scotch seemed like a good idea to loosen him up

Theo having a break mid-shoot.

Slightly tired and emotional

I freakin' love you guys, Moohaha is Fu#$ing awesome sh#t. Where's my mate Kermit, I love that guy!

Spew break while the crew changed the lighting.

Having a ninja-nap in between hair and makeup

Theodore's PR Manager released a statement "He has been under a lot of pressure lately and his actions on the day were due to jet-lag."

At least the Blang looks good.

Fuk the Fascinator

Summer hair and make up, that begs the question: Why have a flower, when you can have a whole bouquet on your head?
It was really only a matter of time before coloured eyebrows came into fashion, rangaz, now is your time to shine. Does blue eye pencil on red make purple..?

Embrace the OTT this spring racing, attract admirers and bees alike.
